Common Questions
How does this differ from a staffing agency?
An agency places a person and steps back. Here the placed engineer is backed by a Chartered Engineer who can do the technical work, so when something lands outside their depth it is escalated inside the same company rather than becoming your problem.
Full time, part time or contract?
All three. Most placements are part time or contract, because most clients need a defined amount of design management rather than a permanent head.
Who do they report to?
You. They work inside your team and on your systems. We stay responsible for the quality of the person and for the technical backstop behind them.
Do they carry out the studies?
No. Studies and calculations are a separate service and stay with the engineer who signs them. A placement coordinates and manages design; it does not quietly become a study service.
